1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Palett ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Palett is a wine tracking and discovery app that uses artificial intelligence to analyze wine labels, provide personalized recommendations, and help users build a taste profile. The App is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use Palett. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 21 years old to use the App.

4. AI-Generated Content

Palett uses artificial intelligence to analyze wine labels and provide recommendations. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate. Wine details, tasting notes, and recommendations should be considered suggestions, not definitive facts.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App, including photos, ratings, tasting notes, and preferences. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this content for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., sending images to our AI provider for analysis).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the source code
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to interfere with the service
  • Create multiple accounts or use automated tools to access the service

7. Limitation of Liability

Palett is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations. Wine purchasing, consumption, and related decisions are your sole responsibility. We are not responsible for any allergic reactions, health issues, or financial losses related to wine recommendations.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
